Junior Racing was back on the water!

Sunshine, gusty winds and plenty of smiling faces could only mean one thing at Hickling Broad Sailing Club this afternoon — Junior Racing was back on the water!

Five Toppers launched onto a lively Broad for another of Teds excellent tuition sessions, with sailors building confidence, sharpening racing skills and enjoying some fantastic sailing conditions along the way. From improving boat handling in the stronger gusts to learning more about tactics and control, there was plenty of progress made throughout the afternoon.

Junior Racing offers a welcoming, relaxed and supportive environment where young sailors can learn, improve and most importantly enjoy being out on the water with friends.

If you have a young sailor who would like to give it a try, we would love to see even more boats joining us over the coming weeks.

A big thank you, to Truc and Stu for providing the much-appreciated hot food afterwards — very welcome after an energetic afternoon afloat!
