Junior Sailing Season Launches in Style!

The Junior Sunday sessions are officially underway, with six boats taking to the water for the first session of the season!

Sailors were met with lively conditions, as a strong south-westerly breeze (Force 4 to 5 with some punchy gusts) provided the perfect opportunity to build skills and confidence. With bright sunshine throughout, it was a fantastic afternoon to be out on the Broad.

The focus of the session was on improving downwind sailing and getting boats up and planing — and everyone rose to the challenge brilliantly.

It was also great to see so many members coming down to support this exciting new initiative, helping to create a really positive atmosphere around the clubhouse. The galley kept everyone going with some much-appreciated hot food after sailing.
