First day of racing this season!

The first race of the season at Hickling Broad Sailing Club provided a refreshing and energetic start to the year. Four boats took to the water—a Wayfarer, two Solos and a Solution—representing a small but committed fleet.

With favourable early-season conditions, PRO Noel was able to take full advantage of a notably weed-free Broad, setting an expansive and well-considered course that made full use of the sailing area. As the morning progressed, the wind steadily increased, offering more challenging conditions for competitors.

Two races were completed, each providing a thorough test of both skill and stamina. Despite the fresh temperatures, all sailors showed determination and resilience, embracing the conditions and setting a positive tone for the season ahead.
