Early Summer Series Winners Crowned

Congratulations to Jim Stewart (Solo) and Mike Gower (Solution), who have been awarded the trophies for winning the Wednesday Evening Early Summer Series and the Sunday Early Summer Series respectively.

Their victories follow earlier successes from Martin Smith (Solo), winner of the Spring Series, and Noël Bradshaw and assorted crew (Norfolk Punt), who took the Spring Sunday Series honours. With different classes represented across the winners, the competition this season has been close and varied, with plenty of sailors still in contention for the season's top awards.

The broad remains weed-free, allowing race officers to set full, challenging courses across the whole sailing area. If you've been thinking about joining the racing, now is a great time to get involved and enjoy some excellent sailing while conditions are at their best.
