Spring Social and Prize Giving

We look forward to welcoming all members - established and new - adults and children - to our social event at Hickling Barn. Arrivals from 6.30pm, eating at around 6.45/7pm.

We will have a bring and share buffet, which has worked wonderfully well previously, followed by our prize giving, to celebrate the trophy winners of the 2022 season, and our welcome to the 2023 season. After this there will be some optional activities, including HBSC t-shirt designing and boat building. However, the primary goal is a social gathering to bring us all together, now that sailing good times are just around the corner.

Please let us know if you are able to attend, emailing enquiries@hicklingbroad.com and what donation you plan to bring for the buffet (just so we can ensure that we don't end up with a thousand sausage rolls and one limp lettuce leaf between us all!). Here is a link to a list of possible contributions, if you are looking for ideas, but this list is by no means exhaustive. If you would like to come but are unable to bring a dish, please still come, on past experience we are sure there will be plenty.

There is an option to book in via the website, which is helpful, but we haven't yet worked out how you can add what you are bringing via that medium.

Do bring you own drinks - soft or otherwise. Glasses will be available. As will tea and coffee.

We had a cracking turn out for the AGM, and hope to see even more of you on the 18th.
