Temporary Membership

Any non-member wishing to sail a boat which is not owned by a club member from the club site, or to helm in club races, must become a temporary member.

On completion of the relevant form and payment to an official of the club of a fee of:-

The fee covers 1 boat, 2 adults and up to 4 children. The same person may not be a temporary member for more than three seperate days or two weeks in any one season.

The club welcomes temporary members under the following conditions:

• Temporary members may join club races (but are not eligable for points or trophies), and may use the club facilities for the duration of the temporary membership.
• Temporary members may NOT borrow club boats nor helm a club rescue boat.
• Temporary membersy may have a club key only for the duration of the membership, upon payment of a deposite cheque of £100.00 to an official of the club. The deposit will be returned when the club recieves the key back, unless damage has occured to the club premises or to the property of the club.
• The key will open the entrance barrier, the changing rooms, the sail loft and the club room. You are reminded that it is your responsibility to ensure that the club is secure when you go sailing or leave the club site,unless there is at least one other key holder on the premises who agrees to lock up.
